Im Bild “Ohne Titel” ver­suche ich ein beliebiges Thumb­nail aus dem Inter­net, dass eine Vagi­na abbildet, zu dekonstruieren

Im Mal­prozess habe ich ver­sucht jeden einzel­nen Pix­el in sein­er Farbe so genau wie möglich wiederzugeben. Das Medi­um der Malerei als ein Mit­tel der Wieder­aneig­nung und Trans­for­ma­tion eines anony­men Bilder­fetischs. Durch den Prozess der Ver­größerung löst sich das konkrete Bild in seine Bestandteile auf und wird reine Farbe. Nur durch den Ein­satz der ursprünglichen Pro­duk­tion­stech­nik — ein­er dig­i­tal­en Kam­era — erscheint das abstrak­te Bild erneut als anonymer Fetisch auf dem Dis­play eines Smart­phones oder ein­er Kamera.

In „with­out title“, I‘m try­ing to decon­struct a thumb­nail, a fetish of a vagi­na found on the inter­net, pro­duced by a dig­i­tal cam­era.
I tried to copy every sin­gle pix­el of a ran­dom pic­ture from a porno­graph­ic web­site, show­ing an anony­mous vagi­na. With the medi­um of paint­ing, I reap­pro­pri­at­ed this unper­son­al fetish into some­thing more per­son­al, yet abstract. In the process of enlarge­ment, the vis­i­ble pic­ture dis­solves into a scheme of colours. Only through the use of the orig­i­nal tech­nique of pro­duc­tion- a dig­i­tal cam­era- the abstract pic­ture will become again an anony­mous fetish on the dis­play of a mobile phone or a camera.
